Welcome to Praise Family Worship Center, we are a church dedicated to helping people find Hope, Healing, Freedom, and Purpose on their Journey of Faith in Christ. We Believe God has Rescued us so we can help Rescue others. We are a Church Family with a Heart of compassion, an extension of God’s Love to our Community. We choose to see the need, we choose to stand in the gap so the hurting can find Hope. Our Vision is to Love God, Love People, and Make a Difference. Praise Family is a place where Everyone can Belong and have a Fresh Start, a beacon of Hope and Community in Hudson, Florida.

Our Mission

Our primary mission is to lead people into a Life-Changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to create life-giving environments where people are Inspired to draw near to God, Connect with others, and Discover their Purpose to Make a Difference. We understand the importance of family and are a church of Connection, creating opportunities and events where Everyone can Connect and do Life Together. From our Passionate Worship, Inspiring Preaching and Teaching, to our Interactive Children’s Programs, every aspect of Praise Family Worship Center is designed to Support individuals and Uplift Families. We believe God’s Love Changes Everything!

Community Outreach

We are Passionate about reaching out to those in need in our community. Through our weekly Food Force Ministry, we provide essential support to our church families to help lighten the load and to families in need of support in our community. We encourage our congregation to share the blessings they receive with others, to bless a friend, neighbor, or co-worker who may be going through a difficult season. We are the hands and feet of Christ and Blessed to Be a Blessing! Our Annual Christmas and Thanksgiving Food outreaches and Toy Drive are a testament to our commitment to serving others and spreading Joy and Hope during the Holiday Season.

Passionate Worship

At Praise Family Worship Center, we believe in the Healing Power of Passionate Worship. Our contemporary style services are designed to Inspire and Uplift, providing a dynamic space for encountering God’s presence. Our dedicated Worship & Media Teams are Passionate about helping lead others into the presence of the Holy Spirit, helping people find Freedom, Restored Hope, and Fresh Joy. We welcome children to participate in worship alongside their families, fostering a sense of belonging and connection from a young age. God’s Presence Changes Everything!

Praise Kids

Our kids’ ministry, known as “Praise Kids,” is dedicated to providing a Nurturing and Engaging environment for children of All ages to Grow in their Faith. The primary mission of Praise Kids is to see every child filled with the Joy of The Lord, to realize how loved and special they are, and to lead them into a life-changing relationship with Jesus. During our main worship service, children have the opportunity to experience worship alongside their families. After worship, they transition to “Kids’ Church,” where they engage in age-appropriate learning and activities that help them understand and apply biblical truths. Our team of dedicated teachers are passionate about creating dynamic environments where God’s Word can come Alive in Every Heart and be transformed through God’s Amazing Love.

Midweek Worship with JBQ (Junior Bible Quiz)

Join us Thursday Nights at 7PM for our Mid-Week Worship & Bible Study Night, featuring JBQ (Junior Bible Quiz) for the kids. This Special Service is designed to provide families with an opportunity to gather Midweek for a time of Refreshing Worship and Dive Deeper into God’s Word Together. Praise Kids engage in JBQ—a fun and interactive way to deepen their knowledge of the Bible and Grow in their Faith. Through JBQ, children also have the opportunity to compete with peers from other churches, fostering friendly competition and camaraderie.

THE BIBLE IS OUR GUIDE FOR ALL THAT WE DO. WE BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD, WITHOUT ERROR, THE WORDS OF SCRIPTURE LIGHT OUR PATH AS WE NAVIGATE LIFE.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 NLT 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

WE MAKE ROOM FOR EVERYONE. WE GIVE PEOPLE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BELONG EVEN BEFORE THEY BELIEVE. WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY PERSON IS MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD AND DESERVES TO BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND HONOR.
‌1 Corinthians 12:12 NLT 12 The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.

WE BELIEVE EVERYONE HAS BEEN CHOSEN FROM BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. WE HAVE BEEN REDEEMED BY A LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE GOD. IT IS FROM THIS FOUNDATIONAL UNDERSTANDING THAT WE LIVE WITH JOY, GRATITUDE, AND PASSION.
‌Philippians 4:4 NLT 4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!

YOU MATTER TO GOD AND YOU MATTER TO US. WE CREATE ENVIRONMENTS WHERE WE CAN SHARE OUR STORIES WITHOUT JUDGEMENT. WE SHARE, WE GIVE, AND WE OFFER OUR TIME AND TALENTS, SO OTHERS CAN DISCOVER HOPE.
Hebrews 13:16 NLT 16 And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.

WE BELIEVE THAT RELATIONSHIPS FLOURISH WITHIN AN ATMOSPHERE OF ACCEPTANCE. THE ONE WHO DESIGNED US, DEFINES US. WE ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO BE WHO THEY WERE CREATED TO BE. FOR IT’S IN CHRIST THAT WE DISCOVER WHO WE REALLY ARE.
‌Ephesians 2:10 NLT 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

We BELIEVE THAT WE ALL ARE A WORK IN PROGRESS. WE TAKE NEXT STEPS AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. YOU CAN TAKE A NEXT STEP NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE.

Beliefs

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Bible is without error. It is authoritative, accurate, and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe in one eternal and loving God who is the creator of all things. He exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ (the son of God) was clothed in flesh to reveal God to humanity and He is the Savior of the world.
We believe that all people were created in the image of God. They were created to have fellowship with God. They were created to know God. We were born to worship God, but our sin separated us from Him and His purpose for our lives. As a result, everyone is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts. Religion, rules, and ritual is not the answer. We all need saving grace and the gift of eternal life.
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the means of a restored relationship with God. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as sufficient payment for their sin. We must repent of our sins, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. We believe our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to Jesus Christ.

In obedience to the Word of Christ, we encourage all believers to take the next step of getting baptized.  We believe we are raised to new life in Christ. We challenge all believers to go public with their faith by openly being baptized in water.

We believe in the person, the power, and the work of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit is a Divine personality, the third member of the Holy Trinity. Those who have received the free gift of salvation have the Holy Spirit living within them. We believe in a subsequent work of the Holy Spirit following salvation. We believe in Spirit Baptism, the Fruit of The Spirit, and the Gifts of the Spirit. We should all be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and grow in the Fruit of the Spirit and be open to the Gifts of The Spirit.

Jesus loves the church and so do we. We believe we are better together, called according to his purpose. We believe in the power and significance of the church and the necessity of believers meeting together regularly for worship, fellowship, and prayer. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and following Him, and to make Jesus known through discipleship and evangelism.
